Testing Out Sketchcast...and what I have been up to lately......

Ok so...the writing is really sloppy. This takes my somewhat sloppy handwriting and turns it into chicken scratch...but it is a nice change of pace now isn't it?

It would also be nice if they added some rule lines for those of us whose handwriting.....needs structure. LOL. But yea....other than that....I think its a cool gadget.....I'm all for it!!!

In the beginning stages I'm sure we can forgive any choppiness and morph of sloppy handwriting into chicken scratch.

I just signed up after watching your post. I tried my best to ink with Sketchcast but it's hard! Here's what I came up with.

Hey Minda,

I missed your comment on my blog before you went ahead and did your own Sketchcast. It's fun stuff. I think I'll incorporate it into my normal blogging, but with definite limits on writing words. Need to focus on sketching and speaking in order to really take advantage of the strengths it and Tablet PCs offer.

I'd love to see you add it to your regular blogging. Perhaps you could just use the voice ability to speak and just emphasize the words by writing them on the Sketchcast. I got to thinking about it and if they can clean up the digital ink this could be something I could use with my students one day...(If I ever make it outta college! LOL!)

Plus I noticed it has a text feature...thats pretty cool. Only issue is if you don't try to control it the text boxes will be all over the Sketchcast. But overall its really awesome.
